Registered + Air Mail to Great Britain. 4 March 1943 Addis Ababa cancel. 606C franking.
10 March 1943 Khartoum Registered transit mark. Opened and resealed by censors in Sudan.
Letter travelled via the BOAC African Landplane Route starting at Khartoum , Sudan and subsequently transferred in Lagos, Nigeria to the Flying Boat Route for transit to Great Britain.


Air Mail to Great Britain. 9 September 1943 Addis Ababa cancel. 72C franking.
Massaua/Eritrea P.C. 66 Opened by Examiner ZZ/37471 sealing tape.


Registered + Air Mail to Great Britain. 18 September 1943 Addis Ababa cancel. 170C franking.
21 September 1945 Registered Khartoum transit.
British Military PC 90 2298 Opened by Examiner with Crown Censor tape.
Sudan PC 90 MM / 5350 Opened by Examiner Censor tape.

     
Surface Mail to US. 26 November 1943 Addis Ababa cancel. 34C franking.
Philatelic franking over pays the expected 20 Centimes surface mail rate to the United States.
Covers similar to this were prepared and sent from several Ethiopian cities by  Penny Black Stamp Company Agents to New York City.
